Agrestic has been built by two families who have been travelling together to Yarrawonga for over 25 years! Over the years we have stayed at various accommodations - motels, homes and apartments. They promised everything but we were often left disappointed and frustrated! No accommodation was perfect and this bothered us . Yarrawonga and its beautiful climate was paradise however so many places let us down year after year! The kids were getting sunburned in the pool, we were unable to supervise kids by the pool, some places had no where to park our boat or tight driveways , lack of car parking or car parking on the road , annoying bunks, running out of gas bottles at bbq time, cold showers because hot water ran out, soggy beds , lack of dining chairs or low stock kitchen items, poor quality linen or the air conditioning promised only cooled the living room not the bedrooms and the list goes on and on! Finally fed up, we decided we loved Yarrawonga so much that we never wanted to holiday any where else so we designed and as one family was a builder we built the perfect home for our two families We created the home with two identical ends and shared the middle part of the home which inlcuded the 2 living rooms, laundry ,BBQ, kitchen and shaded pool. This makes Agrestic absolutely perfect for single and multiple familes and big groups because the home was designed this way for ourselves in 2008. Being builders ourselves it was a logical decision and Alexandra now manages the home on behalf of both families.

A spacious acre near the river's entrance was purchased, and the two families set to work, crafting a home that would allow us both privacy and social interaction.  

We added luxuries we craved, but never experienced.  Air conditioning (in every room), a shaded pool to jump in, extremely fast wireless internet, Netflix, 5 spacious bedrooms, unlimited hot water, a fantastic BBQ (no gas bottles), basketball hoop, lush grass and outdoor entertainment area by the pool with a Plamsa to enjoy while having sunset drinks! There are no bunks! An extra-large circular driveway to accommodate many cars, an undercover carport to park our boats. The list is endless and without any doubt we must have got it right as our guests come back year after year and our reviews speak for themselves!

Halfway between Canberra and Melbourne, this home is a perfect place to meet “in the middle’ for a relaxing getaway or family celebration between Vic and NSW . We host boys golf weekends, crafting and quilting groups, girls weekends, family celebrations and reunions, corporate and school groups and many other dynamic groups stay at Agrestic due to our wonderful facilities and ability to host large groups at an affordable price! We are certainly unique and it has been a pleasure to share Agrestic Yarrawonga with many other families and friends who return year after year for their regular holidays - Agrestic has beome a part of their family tradition too!
